Archer Travel Service and Evolution Travel Expand to Spain

Archer Travel Service and Evolution Travel are extending their global reach with the opening of a new office in Madrid, aimed at supporting the growing number of independent travel advisors across Europe.

The move strengthens a partnership that began in 2016, when Evolution Travel aligned with Archer Travel to build a network of home-based advisors. Since then, the two companies have scaled into one of the industry’s largest independent networks, supporting more than $500 million in annual supplier sales.

“The global and tourism industry continues to experience growth, which is creating significant opportunities for individuals to become home-based travel advisors,” said Ron Archer, president of Archer Travel. “The Archer-Evolution model has become very appealing because of the significant training and support we provide advisors, and because we have maintained a family-based culture among our network during this significant growth period.”

The Madrid office will serve as a hub for training and advisor support throughout the European Union, underscoring the companies’ commitment to expanding internationally. Archer and Evolution already operate offices in the United States, Brazil, Australia, and Mexico City.

Founded in 1952 by Cliff and Lola Archer, Archer Travel has remained a family-owned business for more than seven decades. Today, Ron Archer and his business partner Reggie Rivas continue to lead the company’s growth into corporate, group, sports, and entertainment travel, while also expanding through its partnership with Evolution Travel.

Evolution Travel, founded by entrepreneur David McCovy, has played a key role in opening the industry to thousands of independent advisors through its marketing platform and training infrastructure. Together, the two companies have created a model that blends entrepreneurial opportunity with comprehensive back-office and educational support.

With the European expansion, Archer and Evolution are doubling down on their strategy of building a globally distributed advisor base—one that combines local training and infrastructure with international supplier relationships.
