Carnival Cruise Line has opened new 2027/28 reservations for three ships in two top Florida homeports, Miami and Port Canaveral, announcing a South Florida move for the “Fun Italian Style” Carnival Venezia, and expanded options aboard Carnival Magic and Carnival Vista. The new sailings feature a variety of itinerary lengths that visit the Caribbean’s most popular destinations, including convenient getaways to exclusive destinations Celebration Key; RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay; and Isla Tropicale.
Carnival Venezia: A New Home in Miami
Carnival Venezia will homeport in Miami starting May 2027. The move will follow a seasonal program from Port Canaveral. From Miami, the ship will sail a series of six- and eight-day Caribbean cruises, giving guests enhanced variety and convenient schedules through April 2028. Six-day western Caribbean voyages feature stops at Celebration Key, as well as calls in popular ports such as Ocho Rios, Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, Grand Turk and Amber Cove. Eight-day cruises feature several other marquee Caribbean destinations such as Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao and Amber Cove.
Carnival Venezia, with a capacity of over 4,000 guests, was the first of two ships to bring “Fun Italian Style” to the Carnival fleet, blending classic Carnival experiences with Italian-inspired design and amenities. Onboard, guests can enjoy unique dining options like the specialty restaurant Il Viaggio and bars such as Amari and Frizzante. Other signature guest-favorites include Bonsai Sushi and Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, as well as the Cloud 9 Spa and top-deck attractions like WaterWorks water park and mini golf.

Carnival Magic: Expanded Miami Lineup
Carnival Magic will continue homeporting in Miami and expand its program with a variety of six- and eight-day cruises across the Eastern, Western and Southern Caribbean. Itineraries features visits to Celebration Key, Amber Cove and RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, as well as Grand Turk, San Juan, St. Maarten, St. Thomas and St. Croix. Southern Caribbean voyages feature calls in Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao.
Carnival Magic, a Dream-class ship, offers a wide array of activities and amenities, including SportSquare and its ropes course at sea, as well as WaterWorks. Guests enjoy diverse dining options onboard, such as Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina and the Cucina del Capitano, along with RedFrog Pub and Alchemy Bar.

Carnival Vista: Year-Round Program from Port Canaveral
Carnival Vista brings expanded options to Port Canaveral with a variety of week-long itineraries exploring the Bahamas as well as the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Carnival Vista’s year-round program from Port Canaveral will offer a range of options featuring a mix of popular destinations including Celebration Key, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay and Isla Tropicale, as well as Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, San Juan, St. Maarten and St. Thomas.
The nearly 4,000-guest Carnival Vista’s offerings include activities for recreation, like SkyRide and WaterWorks, as well as relaxation, including Serenity Retreat, along with a variety of dining options and family-friendly accommodations, such as Family Harbor staterooms.
