Ennismore Drives Strong Growth Across the Americas

Continuing its expansion in the Americas, Ennismore has announced four new hotel signings in Mexico and the addition of Balfour Miami Beach to the Morgans Originals portfolio of independent hotels. These additions bring Ennismore’s regional operational and pipeline network to over 70 properties and follow a series of recent major development announcements including the addition of six all-inclusive resorts in Mexico with the arrival of Rixos to the market; the first Ennismore signing in Jamaica; and the reopening of Delano Miami Beach.

Ennismore has announced four signings in Mexico: Delano East Cape in Los Cabos, Hyde Mexico City, The Hoxton Mexico City and Mama Shelter Mexico City. Each property marks a significant milestone as the first of its respective brand to launch in Mexico.

Opening in 2029, the beachfront Delano East Cape will offer 117 guestrooms and 60 branded residences. Hyde Mexico City will welcome guests to its 215 bohemian-inspired rooms later this year, while also opening in late 2025 is the 100-key Mama Shelter Mexico City. The Hoxton Mexico City will open in 2028 with 80 guestrooms. Other recent signings in the Americas for Ennismore include Hyde Mazatlan and The Hoxton Nashville. Opening in 2027, Hyde Mazatlan on the western coast of Mexico will feature 150 guestrooms and 22 suites, while The Hoxton Nashville, slated to open in 2027, will feature over 200 guestrooms.

The newest addition to Morgans Originals, Balfour Miami Beach is an Art Deco gem in the city’s upscale South of Fifth enclave. Offering 82 rooms circling a rooftop pool deck, the property is steps away from the beach and home to Cleo, a Mediterranean-meets-Middle Eastern restaurant, along with SoFi Coffee, a laid-back neighborhood café and iconic 1940s architecture.

Additionally, Ennismore has seen significant growth in its branded residences portfolio, which includes the newly signed Mondrian Residences Hallandale Beach, FL, comprising 250 luxury condominiums across 26 floors.

In April 2025, Ennismore announced that it had entered exclusive negotiations with Royal Holiday Group, which would, once completed (subject to customary regulatory approvals), result in the addition of six all-inclusive resorts with over 1,600 rooms to join its ALL Inclusive Collection. The transaction contemplates three resorts in Puerto Vallarta, Cozumel and Cancun, which will be rebranded as Rixos hotels, marking the brand’s entry into Mexico. The remaining properties in Cancun, Acapulco and Ixtapa would remain under the existing brand. These six resorts present an exciting opportunity to expand the group’s stronghold in the all-inclusive market, unlocking new avenues in the midscale segment in key destinations. Ennismore’s first all-inclusive resort in the Americas opened last year, with the arrival of SLS Playa Mujeres on the sands of Costa Mujeres.

In Jamaica, Ennismore has partnered with LCH Development Limited to launch two brands across three buildings. Two will offer luxury residences and private villas, while the third will be home to a 240-key luxury hotel.

Delano Miami Beach will reopen in late 2025 following a significant renovation. The refreshed hotel will offer 171 guestrooms and suites, a spa, a wellness studio, a new rooftop pool, new dining concepts and the return of the Rose Bar.
