JetBlue Vacations Partners on Great Weather Guarantee for Jamaica

Travelers booking a Jamaica getaway through JetBlue Vacations may soon have one less thing to worry about: the weather.

The package holiday company has teamed up with the Jamaica Tourist Board and weather-analytics firm WeatherPromise to offer travelers up to $500 back if rainfall during their trip exceeds expected levels. Included automatically at no additional cost, the Great Weather Guarantee applies to Jamaica Flight + Hotel packages booked between March 1 and May 31 for trips lasting three to 16 nights.

Once travelers reserve a package, WeatherPromise’s system monitors weather conditions during the trip using satellite imagery, radar technology and advanced data analytics. Each booking receives a customized rainfall threshold based on the destination and travel dates. If rainfall exceeds that threshold, customers are notified automatically and can select how they would like to receive the $500 payout.

“JetBlue Vacations has always focused on removing friction from the travel experience,” said Jamie Perry, president at Paisly, the technology company that powers JetBlue Vacations. “With this Jamaica-specific guarantee, customers can book knowing that if the weather doesn’t meet expectations, they’re covered.”

The packages also provide access to JetBlue Vacations’ Insider Experience in Montego Bay, which includes perks such as airport transfers, an arrival meet-and-greet and 24/7 local support. Alongside the guarantee, JetBlue Vacations is offering a limited-time spring promotion on Flight + Hotel packages offering up to $500 off, an offer valid for reservations made between March 3 and March 9 for travel through August 31, 2026.

The initiative comes as Jamaica continues to rank among the Caribbean’s most popular destinations, drawing travelers with its white-sand beaches and vibrant culinary scene.

“Jamaica is a destination of rich culture and warm hospitality,” said Edmund Bartlett, Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism. “The Great Weather Guarantee allows travelers to fully embrace everything our island has to offer with added confidence.”

Travel under the Great Weather Guarantee must begin at least seven days after booking and be completed by December 1, 2026.
