Sensible Weather leverages trusted windspeed data to calculate the strongest average wind speed over a one-hour period. If winds meet or exceed the set threshold during a traveler’s covered dates, the guarantee is automatically triggered and reimbursement is initiated instantly. The launch comes as the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) reports above-average sustained winds across much of the U.S. in 2025, underscoring how volatile conditions are becoming for outdoor recreation and travel.
