Virgin Voyages Expands Advisor Opportunities Amid Record Sales

Virgin Voyages is riding a massive surge in adult-only travel demand, logging its highest booking month in company history this January and rolling out lucrative new incentives for travel advisors.

The adult-only travel market is exploding — projected to nearly double from $9.2 billion in 2024 to $18.1 billion by 2033. For travel advisors, Virgin Voyages’ momentum translates directly into high-converting sales, bolstered by a transparent pricing model and new performance incentives.

By the numbers: The cruise line closed out 2025 with strong gains and is carrying that momentum into a record-breaking 2026 Wave season.

  • +20%: The year-over-year revenue increase seen so far this mid-Wave season.

  • +98%: The surge in web traffic to Virgin Voyages in January, crushing the competitive set’s 10% average growth.

  • Triple digits: The growth rate of Alaska sailings bookings.

  • +30%: The increase in gross ticket revenue at the close of 2025, with ships sailing at full commercial load factors.

“We’re heading into 2026 and 2027 in the strongest position we’ve ever been in, together with new destinations, experiences that actually move people, and real value for the Sailors you’re bringing us,” Virgin Voyages CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu said in a statement while emphasizing the growing partnership with the trade network

The details: Virgin’s “Voyage Fair Choices” philosophy removes complexity, giving advisors a straightforward Wave offer to pitch through February 26:

  • 80% off the second Sailor.

  • Up to $350 in free drinks.

  • $300 in onboard credit on select itineraries.

The incentive: To capitalize on mid-Wave momentum, the brand launched the “Sell Your Way to Seattle” contest.

  • Advisors (First Mates) earn one entry for every 2026 West Coast or Alaska sailing booked by March 31.

  • The prize: A sailing in Seriously Suite RockStar Quarters aboard the Seattle MerMaiden voyage.

What’s next: With the four-ship fleet now complete following the debut of Brilliant Lady, Virgin Voyages is expanding its cultural footprint in 2026. Brilliant Lady will soon make her West Coast debut, unlocking kid-free itineraries from Los Angeles to Mexico and from Seattle to Alaska. Cultural events like the Red Hot Sailing Club Voyage (featuring Nile Rodgers & CHIC) and the Comedy Fest will also return.

“Advisors often ask me who the Virgin Voyages customer is, and the answer is simple: it’s anyone traveling without kids,” Saverimuttu added. “Kid-free travel is a movement. When travel isn’t tied to school calendars, booking patterns shift and Sailors have more flexibility, which drives stronger repeat behavior and steadier demand throughout the year. That sustained momentum is reflected in the awards we’ve earned and the consistently high satisfaction scores across our fleet, and it’s why we’re the undisputed leader in kid-free travel.”
