Venture Luxury Estates, a division of Uphoff Resorts, has announced the Treetop Villas at Mirror Lake in the Wisconsin Dells will officially open June 2. Dawn Manor Restaurant, located next door, is also set to open in tandem with the villas.
For this project, architectural design firm ADCI drew inspiration from Frank Lloyd Wright, who was a prominent guest of the original 1855 Dawn Manor home. The best views were chosen for each villa while making sure to provide privacy for neighbors. The Treetop Villas blend into their surrounding landscape due to the selection of natural materials, including white pine tree trunks. Higher-end finishes were also selected to add a sense of luxury for guests.

The Treetop Villas were constructed by Holtz Builders. Three of the villas have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a sleeper sofa to accommodate up to six guests. The fourth unit can accommodate up to 10 guests with four bedrooms, king beds and a sleeper sofa, as well as four-and-a-half bathrooms. Each bedroom is cantilevered over the sandstone cliffs and frames views of the lake and ravine below. This larger villa also houses a sauna for up to four guests.
All four Treetop Villas offer luxury amenities including full kitchens, gas fireplaces, washers and dryers, and wardrobes outfitted for skis and snowboard equipment. Outdoors, the villas have elevated back decks with lounge seating, a fire pit and an outdoor lake-facing balcony hot tub. Tip: One of the two-bedroom units is pet-friendly, as well.

The Treetop Villas will open in tandem with Dawn Manor Restaurant. The historic estate houses a restaurant, bar, speakeasy, patio deck and gift shop. Meticulous reconstruction preserved many of the original elements of the house, including the stone-by-stone relocation of the exterior 170-year-old custom sandstone veneer stone. The restaurant also offers room service and private chef services for the villas.
