Eurobound Adds New London and Cotswolds Independent Tour

Eurobound has announced a new nine-day London and Cotswolds independent tour, which will include an overnight in a former castle, a private tour of northern Cotswolds villages, and a cruise on the Oxford River. Designed for two couples traveling together, the itinerary begins with three nights in London and provides stays in three different Cotswolds areas, a private tour of select villages, and a three-day rental car for travel between the Cotswolds and back to Heathrow Airport.

In London, two private, half-day tours cover Westminster Abbey and the Changing of the Guard, plus the Tower of London with the Crown Jewels. Guests then transfer by rail to Oxford for two nights, where the Cotswolds adventure begins.  A private walking tour and an Oxford River cruise with afternoon tea provide an introduction to the renowned university town.

Afterward, Eurobound guests will pick up their rental car for three nights in the English countryside, driving to the market town of Moreton in Marsh for two nights. Here, a  full-day tour with a private driver-guide explores the area’s country towns and villages. The historic market town of Shipping Campden, Snowshill with its stone cottages, and Bourton-on-Water, known as the “Venice of the Cotswolds,” are among included sights. Crowning the final night is an overnight at historic Thornbury Castle. Once a retreat for Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, the five-star castle has opulent bedrooms with four-poster, canopied beds, Tudor-inspired gardens, and fine, locally sourced dining.

The tour, per person, is priced at $7,395, based on double occupancy and four people traveling together. Included are deluxe accommodations in four- and five-star hotels, private transfers and touring, rail transportation, a shared river cruise, and rental car.
