Aer Lingus, the Irish flag carrier, is set to launch a new direct flight connecting Pittsburgh and Dublin, beginning May 25, 2026. Operating four times per week, this service will offer seamless onward connections from Dublin to major European cities including Paris, Rome, Geneva, Amsterdam, Manchester and London Heathrow.
The airline has collaborated closely with partners in the region, including the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh International Airport and VisitPITTSBURGH, to successfully launch this new service, which will strengthen the cultural, sporting, and business connections between Ireland and Pennsylvania.
This service also builds on Aer Lingus’ deep connections to the city of Pittsburgh, where it serves as an Official Airline Partner of the legendary Pittsburgh Steelers. In September 2025, the airline flew the Steelers to Dublin for a historic sold-out game at Croke Park. Additionally, in 2027, the Pitt Panthers will fly to Dublin to face the Wisconsin Badgers in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, taking place in Week Zero of the College Football calendar.

The Aer Lingus nonstop route also offers global businesses in Pittsburgh seamless connections to more than 30 destinations beyond Dublin, which can be reached easily via the airline’s Dublin Hub. Travelers benefit from Dublin Airport’s unique U.S. Pre-Clearance facility, which allows passengers bound for the United States to complete immigration and customs procedures before departure. Upon arrival stateside, they are treated as domestic passengers, ensuring a smooth and efficient travel experience.
Operating on a184-seat Airbus A321neo LR, the Aer Lingus nonstop flight offers dual class seats, including 16 business class seats with lie-flat seating. Customers will enjoy complimentary meals and refreshments, as well as an extensive in-flight entertainment offering.

The new Dublin–Pittsburgh route will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Fares start from $519 roundtrip, including taxes, charges and carrier-imposed fees.
