Disney Cruise Line will bring a ship back to New York City for the first time since 2023 as part of its newly released Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 itineraries, a slate that also expands sailings from San Juan, Puerto Rico, adds maiden calls in Panama, and puts three Wish Class ships in Port Canaveral for the first time.
Advisors should note the booking window: early access opens for select Castaway Club members on August 31, 2026, with general bookings opening September 8.
“Disney Cruise Line is proud to be a leader in family cruising, helping our guests create lasting memories in even more destinations,” said Tracy Wilson, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line Operations. “We are delighted to return to a guest-favorite port in New York, introduce maiden calls in Panama and continue visiting destinations throughout the Caribbean and beyond with our growing fleet.”
Back in New York
The Disney Wish will arrive in New York in late September 2027, following the ship’s inaugural European season, for seven sailings of four to seven nights. Five of those will call on Bermuda, and three will stretch the Bermuda stop by an extra day.
The New York program also marks Disney’s return to New England and Atlantic Canada after nearly four years, with fall foliage sailings visiting Boston; St. John, New Brunswick; and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The Wish will then reposition south on a five-night New York-to-San Juan voyage with a Bermuda stop, followed by a seven-night Southern Caribbean sailing from San Juan calling at Aruba, St. Maarten, Bonaire, and Dominica. A four-night repositioning to Port Canaveral will visit both Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
San Juan and the Panama Canal
The Disney Fantasy will add more San Juan departures: a seven-night Southern Caribbean cruise in December 2027, a five-night Eastern Caribbean sailing ending in Fort Lauderdale, and two seven-night Southern Caribbean cruises in late April and May 2028 with calls including Curaçao, Bonaire, Barbados, and Antigua.
The Disney Magic will run two 14-night Panama Canal repositionings. The November 2027 eastbound sailing from San Diego to Galveston, Texas, includes a maiden call at Fuerte Amador (Panama City), and the March 2028 westbound return from Galveston to San Diego adds a maiden call at Colón, the canal’s Caribbean gateway.
Florida Lineup
Starting in November 2027, the Disney Destiny will home port in Port Canaveral for the first time, sailing three- to seven-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean cruises. Before the move, the Destiny opens the fall season in Fort Lauderdale with three- to five-night itineraries.
Once its New York and San Juan run is finished, the Disney Wish will settle into Port Canaveral for three- and four-night Bahamian cruises. The Disney Treasure continues seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings from Port Canaveral, with ports including Tortola and Falmouth, Jamaica, plus one eight-night Eastern Caribbean sailing and one six-night Bahamian cruise with two Castaway Cay stops.
The Disney Dream sails three- and four-night Bahamas cruises from Port Canaveral before shifting to Fort Lauderdale in November 2027 for three- to five-night sailings and one six-night, double-Castaway Cay itinerary. The Disney Fantasy sails four- and five-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral from September through November 2027, then moves to San Juan and later Fort Lauderdale for four- to seven-night Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean cruises. From Fort Lauderdale, the Fantasy will also make its first Bermuda sailing on an eight-night cruise that includes both Disney Bahamian islands.
West Coast, Texas, and Singapore
Both the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will sail three- to seven-night Baja and Mexican Riviera cruises from San Diego through early November 2027. The Wonder stays in San Diego for the full season with stops at Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas, and Catalina Island.
After its canal crossing, the Magic returns to Galveston for four- to seven-night cruises, with select seven-night Bahamian sailings visiting both Lookout Cay and Castaway Cay.
In Southeast Asia, the Disney Adventure continues three- and four-night sailings from Singapore from September through December 2027. Select sailings beginning December 31, 2026, add Langkawi, Malaysia, as a new port of call.
Holiday Sailings
Halloween on the High Seas returns in September 2027 with character appearances, deck parties, and trick-or-treating at sea, and Very Merrytime sailings run in November and December 2027 with a tree lighting, seasonal treats, and Santa visits.
