Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana Is Now Open

Hyatt has opened Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana, the first Dominican Republic property for its adults-only, all-inclusive Hyatt Vivid Hotels & Resorts brand. The 467-room resort sits on the Cabeza de Toro shoreline and is owned by Grupo Anacaona, adding to a Hyatt Inclusive Collection footprint that already counts 30 resorts and more than 16,000 rooms in the country.

The resort is built around a choose-your-own-day format organized into three pillars: flow, covering movement and wellness; discovery, covering cultural immersion and local connection; and presence, covering mindfulness, relaxation, and sensory experiences. Signature programming includes paddleboard yoga on the Caribbean, Dominican coffee tastings with live DJ sets, a painting workshop that ends with access to the resort’s hidden speakeasy, and guided stargazing.

“The opening of Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana reflects both the continued strength of the Dominican Republic as one of the world’s premier leisure destinations and our long-term commitment to growing alongside it,” said Javier Águila, president, Inclusive Collection, Hyatt. “We’re grateful to Grupo Anacaona for their trust in bringing the Hyatt Vivid brand to life in this important market. With 30 resorts and more than 16,000 rooms already in the Hyatt Inclusive Collection across the country, this opening further strengthens Hyatt’s leadership in all-inclusive hospitality while introducing a differentiated resort experience designed for guests seeking a more relaxed, flexible and socially connected way to travel.”

Dining runs to five à la carte restaurants, an international food hall, a bar and grill, seven bars and lounges, the speakeasy, and the Zenda Wellness Café. Zenda Spa anchors the wellness side with treatments drawn from Dominican botanicals, joined by indoor and outdoor fitness spaces, a padel court, pickleball courts, and yoga and mindfulness programming.
