Following the successful introduction of nine European city destinations this year, Germany‘s popular vacation airline, Condor, is adding more for next summer. From May 1, 2026, Barcelona (BCN) in Catalonia, Budapest (BUD) in Hungary and the famous canal city of Venice (VCE) will be added as new destinations from Frankfurt Airport (FRA). The flights will take guests daily from Frankfurt to the three European metropolises in the morning, afternoon and evening.
The three new destinations will complement the existing city connections to Berlin (BER), Hamburg (HAM), Munich (MUC), Paris (CDG), Milan (MXP), Rome (FCO), Vienna (VIE), Zurich (ZRH) and Prague (PRG) in the 2026 summer timetable. As part of the modernization of Condor’s short-haul fleet, more of the new, efficient Airbus A320neo aircraft will be used on these flights.
“Condor has successfully established itself on the market in recent months with the new city destinations from Frankfurt. Since then, we have been offering our guests an attractive product on our daily flights at optimal flight times for business and leisure travelers,” said Peter Gerber, CEOn Condor. “This has been well received, so it is a logical next step to offer further exciting metropolises with Barcelona, Budapest and Venice.”
Guests can expect even more comfort on board thanks to larger luggage compartments, Wi-Fi options and an interior that is optimized to meet customer requirements. All inter-European short-haul flights take off in a two-class configuration: with Business Class, where complimentary drinks and a high-quality snack are served, and Economy Class, where guests receive complimentary water and a sweet treat, as well as buy-onboard options.
Tickets for flights to Barcelona, Budapest and Venice can be booked from the end of next week at all travel agencies or online.
