The now Hyatt-owned Playa Hotels & Resorts announced the completion of a $50 million transformation at the all-inclusive, award-winning Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos. The renovation enhances the beachfront resort’s appeal for families, couples, and wedding clients alike.
Located along the Sea of Cortez, the refreshed resort now features fully reimagined accommodations, new culinary venues, and expanded programming for kids and teens. All 248 guest rooms in Tower B were updated with new furnishings, modernized bathrooms, and refreshed balcony seating.
On the culinary front, two new concepts make their debut: Mahika, an Indian-inspired dining experience, and Farina e Olio, a rustic Italian restaurant set along the beach, featuring warm tones and antique tile flooring. Guests can also stop by The Station, a snack bar inspired by classic train stations, or experience the newly reimagined Casa Cortez, now channeling an Ibiza-meets-Tulum aesthetic with airy textures and natural accents.
Other enhancements include a transformed Lobby Bar with sculptural design elements, an expanded KidZ Club and new Teens Club, and a Wedding Showroom offering immersive planning for destination weddings. The resort’s lobby has also been fully redesigned with contemporary finishes and a new Premium Check-In area for arriving guests.
Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos is part of Hyatt’s growing portfolio of all-inclusive properties across Latin America and the Caribbean.
