The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has announced that registration has officially reopened for the highly anticipated River Cruise Expo, taking place March 11–15, 2026, in Amsterdam.
Thanks to the efforts of ASTA’s business development team in collaboration with officials at the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam, additional docking space has been secured to allow a record of 15 river cruise ships and more attendees to join the expo than ever before.
The 2026 River Cruise Expo isn’t just growing in size—it’s evolving in impact. With Celebrity Cruises and Trafalgar Tours making their river cruise debut at the supplier trade show, attendees will get an exclusive first look at new players entering the market. An expanded two-day general session focused on selling river cruises will also deepen the educational value for attendees. Elizabeth Gilbert, author of “Eat, Pray, Love,” will deliver an inspirational keynote following the release of her upcoming memoir. Capping off the event, ASTA’s senior vice president of business development, Sarah Little, will be honored as the godmother of AmaWaterways’ newest ship, AmaSofia, during a special christening ceremony—adding a meaningful moment of celebration to this standout industry gathering.
ASTA members who were unable to secure a spot due to original event capacity selling out in April, 2025, can take advantage of this second chance to attend the event.
Seats are limited. Interested travel advisors can register here.
