ASTA Welcomes New Members to Board of Directors

The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has announced its 2026-27 Board of Directors, including the newly-elected directors who will officially begin their two-year terms at the close of ASTA’s Travel Advisor Conference in San Diego, CA in May.

The Board annually elects directors to serve on its executive committee, consisting of a chair, vice chair/secretary and treasurer. The chair of the Corporate Advisory Council (CAC) also serves on the executive committee and is selected by the voting members of the CAC. The president and CEO of ASTA is also an ex officio, non-voting member.

The 2026-27 executive committee will be voted on by the Board of Directors during the Travel Advisor Conference in May.

The entire 2026-27 Board of Directors is as follows:

ASTA thanked outgoing directors Shelly Phillips, Alex Sharpe, and Cynthia Tyo for their outstanding leadership and dedicated service.

ASTA also thanked all the members that participated by voting in the election process. “We appreciate your commitment to ASTA’s mission,” ASTA said in a statement.
