Hilton Hawaiian Village Celebrates Newly Renovated Rainbow Tower

Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort has announced the completion of the renovation of its Rainbow Tower, marking a major milestone during the resort’s 65th anniversary year. An enduring symbol of Waikiki and one of Hawai‘i’s most recognizable landmarks, the Rainbow Tower has been reimagined with refreshed guestrooms, locally inspired design, and curated artwork, offering families and travelers a new way to experience O‘ahu this summer.

“For 65 years, Hilton Hawaiian Village has been the backdrop for family vacations, milestone celebrations and unforgettable memories, bringing people together to connect, celebrate and experience the spirit of aloha,” said Kyle Anger, general manager, Hilton Hawaiian Village. “Few landmarks capture the spirit of a destination the way the Rainbow Tower does for Waikiki, and as we celebrate its reimagined spaces, we’re proud to honor its legacy as a cultural and visual symbol of the islands while welcoming today’s travelers.”

As part of the transformation, Hilton Hawaiian Village partnered with Hawai‘i-based artists to create interiors that connect guests to the destination through locally inspired artwork, cultural storytelling and design. Layered with botanical references, surf-inspired touches, and a palette that nods to the tower’s rainbow motif, the redesign balances fresh finishes and modern comfort with the playful, nostalgic energy that has made the property a favorite for generations.
