Holland America Line has announced that its “Travel By Sea” offer has been extended through August 20, 2025. Part of the “Refreshingly Free” campaign launched in June, the “Travel By Sea” offer adds more value to a tropical vacation. The updated offer now features up to 40 percent discount on cruise-only fares, free prepaid crew appreciation, free fares for kids and $25 deposits.
“Travel By Sea” is available on select departures from fall 2025 through spring 2026 and includes cruises ranging from one to 56 days to a variety of Holland America Line’s global destinations. Sailings include tropical getaways to the Caribbean, Mexico, Panama Canal and holiday cruises. Guests can also explore Asia, Australia/New Zealand, the South Pacific/Tahiti, Hawaii, South America/Antarctica and Pacific Coast with “Travel By Sea.” Bookings must be made by August 20, 2025, to benefit from the offer.
“Travel By Sea” is combinable with the line’s “Have it All” premium fare. When booking with “Have It All,” in addition to the “Travel By Sea” free crew appreciation, free kids and reduced deposits, guests receive four high-value amenities: shore excursions, a Signature Beverage Package, specialty dining and a Wi-Fi surf package.
Guests aged 18 and under, traveling as the third and fourth guests in a cabin can sail on select cruises for free, making a vacation with the whole family more affordable.
Travelers can book select cruises with $25 deposits for the first and second guests in the stateroom. Cruise fare savings up to 40 percent are available on sailings included in the promotion. Sample departures include:
- Seven-day “Eastern Caribbean: Amber Cove & Bahamas” onboard Zuiderdam (November 15, 2025)
- 27-day “South Pacific Crossing” onboard Noordam (October 12, 2025)
- Seven-day “Eastern Caribbean” itinerary onboard Eurodam (November 30, 2025)
- Seven-day “Western Caribbean” itinerary onboard Nieuw Statendam (December 20, 2025)
- 15-day “Panama Canal with History Channel” onboard Zuiderdam (January 31, 2026)
- Nine-day “Southern Caribbean & ABC Islands with History Channel” onboard Rotterdam (March 13, 2026)
- 22-day “Panama Canal” sailing onboard Koningsdam (April 10, 2026)
