Avelo Airlines has opened its schedule for booking through April 20, 2027, giving advisors a window to lock in spring travel for clients across the carrier’s network of more than 35 U.S. and Puerto Rico destinations. One-way fares start at $42.
The extension covers Avelo’s full map, which leans heavily on Florida and the Southeast — Orlando, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Sarasota, Key West, Charleston, Savannah, and Myrtle Beach among them — plus Aguadilla and San Juan in Puerto Rico. The Houston-based carrier’s strategy is built around secondary airports in major metros, including New Haven, Islip, Wilmington (for Philadelphia), Lakeland (for Orlando), and Concord (for Charlotte), a pitch that plays well with clients looking to skip the big-hub crowds and parking costs.
“We’ve extended Avelo’s flight schedule through April 20, 2027, so travelers have even more runway to lock in our affordable fares and start planning,” said Trevor Yealy, Avelo’s head of network and revenue. “Whether it’s a spontaneous weekend trip or that spring vacation you’ve been eyeing, we’re focused on making travel convenient and reliable so you can just show up and go.”
A few things worth flagging for clients: Avelo automatically seats children 14 and under with an accompanying adult at no charge, and its Stretch+ seats offer 34-plus inches of legroom with a blocked middle seat. The carrier’s Avelo PLUS membership and new World Elite Mastercard extend perks like priority boarding and free carry-ons to everyone on the member’s or cardholder’s reservation, which is a useful detail for families and groups traveling together.
Avelo launched in April 2021 and has since carried more than 10 million passengers on nearly 80,000 flights. It currently serves 37 destinations across 15 states and Puerto Rico and was the first U.S. carrier to fly the Embraer 195-E2.
