Disney Vacation Club unveiled the guest room lineup for Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, a 967-room waterfront resort on Bay Lake at Walt Disney World Resort set to open July 1, 2027. The resort sits a short boat ride from Magic Kingdom Park, and reservations open to the general public Oct. 8, including through travel advisors.
The headline product is the Lake House, a freestanding one- or two-bedroom retreat with A-frame architecture, floor-to-ceiling windows, a private porch on the water, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer. The units sleep five and eight guests, respectively, and are themed to “Brother Bear,” with a Northern Lights-inspired lighting feature in the primary bedroom.
The rest of the inventory covers the usual DVC spread of villas and studios, each tied to a different Disney film:
- Duo studios (“Encanto”): Aimed at couples and solo travelers, with a kitchenette, split bathroom, and a queen-size pull-down bed.
- Deluxe studios (“Bambi”): Sleep up to four, with a kitchenette, private balcony, and seating area.
- One- and two-bedroom villas (“Bambi”): Sleep five and nine, respectively, with full kitchens, washers and dryers, and private patios.
- Three-bedroom grand villas (“Fantasia”): Sleep up to 12, with multiple bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a private patio with water views.
- Resort studios and resort studio kings (“Pocahontas”): Sleep four and two, respectively, with carved wood paneling and scenic murals.
Select rooms include access to The Artist’s Nest, a concierge lounge above the treetops with complimentary refreshments and resort-wide views. At the top of the range, the two-bedroom Hidden Willow Presidential Suite sleeps six and offers Magic Kingdom fireworks views at night, plus a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and lounge access.
Outside the rooms, The Wetlands recreation area features a “Pocahontas”-inspired wet and dry play zone, a lazy river, and a zero-entry pool with a spiral water slide. Dining includes Moonglade, a signature waterfront table-service restaurant; Bay Lake Provisions, an all-day marketplace; and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill for poolside meals. Guests get standard Disney Resorts Collection perks, including extra park time and complimentary transportation, with water taxi service to Magic Kingdom.
