Delta is giving customers more ways to reach Japan with the launch of new nonstop service between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Tokyo-Narita International Airport (NRT) beginning in late March 2027.
The new route complements Delta’s existing nonstop service between Seattle and Tokyo-Haneda (HND), creating two ways to Tokyo for customers traveling from Seattle and throughout Delta’s broader U.S. network. Delta also currently flies to HND from Atlanta (ATL), Detroit (DTW), Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP), Los Angeles (LAX), and Honolulu (HNL). Together, the two Tokyo airports offer added access and convenience, whether customers are heading into the heart of the city, connecting across the greater Tokyo region or beginning an unforgettable journey across Japan.

The new Seattle–Narita service will operate daily on Delta’s Airbus A330-900neo, offering customers a modern, comfortable onboard experience across the Pacific. The aircraft features Delta’s signature long-haul products, including Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main, with amenities designed to help customers relax, recharge and enjoy the journey.
The largest international carrier at SEA, Delta continues to build on its commitment to the Pacific Northwest with a network designed to connect customers to more of the places they want to go, both across the U.S. and around the world.
Delta operates more than 160 peak-day departures to over 62 destinations from Seattle, including new nonstop service to Barcelona (BCN) and Rome (FCO), offering customers convenient access to a broad domestic network and long-haul international service backed by Delta’s premium onboard experience. At SEA, that experience begins before takeoff with the Delta One Lounge, giving eligible Delta One customers an elevated space to relax, dine and recharge before their journey.
